Katelyn Deitzen was born in raised the small town of Vicksburg, Michigan. She had the privilege to travel abroad and spend a year in Poland through the Rotary Youth Exchange Program. She attended Michigan State University and received her Bachelors’ degree in Communication in 2014. Upon graduating from ‘Sparty U’ she worked as an Office Manager of a STEM school and then was the Operations Coordinator for a senior living corporate office in Indianapolis, IN. While in Indianapolis she adopted a lab/mastiff puppy, and named him Tank. Joining the John Scott Insurance team has allowed her to move back to Michigan and to be able to spend more time with her family.
Role
Katelyn’s role at CIA will include being the leader of day-to-day operations as well as the executive assistant to the company’s President.
Fun Facts
- She rescued Tank as a 1 year old puppy. He has become her pride and joy
- Family time is very important to her
- She loves to travel and see new places
